New Music: Kings Of Leon - Come Around Sundown

Kings Of Leon
After their successful last album "Only By The Night" the four-piece Nashville, Tennessee-based Alt-Rock band comes back with their highly-anticipated 5th album.  The opening track "This Could Be The End" Caleb Followill moans the message with the stormy guitar-riff pulling your heart apart.  Single "Radioactive" the group is playing with gospel-choir style alongside with their guitar rock line.  In track 7 "Back Down South" you can imagine yourself sitting along side the river in the south watching the sun slowly coming down.  The beautiful country rock tune brings you into the heart of their hometown.  Watch their live performance back in August 2010:

New Music: Carl Barât

Carl Barât
This first solo album from the former member of "The Libertines" (with Pete Doherty the drug addict) and his own success "Pretty Dirty Things", gives people a new understanding of his music world.  Carl new work shows his truth side of love and joy with a totally different music style away from his indie-punk rock based in his previous work.

His collaboration with Neil Hannon (the soul of The Divine Comedy) and Andrew Wyatt (key man in Miike Snow) gives his new work a sense of soul and joy.   Single "Run With The Boys" is surrounded by a catchy brass line feels like Morrissey singing The Style Council.  The joyful one "She Is Something" guides you back to the precious moments with your love ones.  "So Long My Lover" is a beautiful uplifting song about the end of a relationship.  The lost of love reaches the highest point in the end of the album (track 12) "Irony Of Love".  The sadness of losing a girl and the sense of powerless to do anything in getting her back send everyone into the pool of tears.

The question is: "Do you think this is the real Carl Barât?"
